Letter from the Executive Director

Hello! I’m shimby, the Executive Director here at the Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative. I have the privilege of welcoming you to this virtual edition of Splice Magazine. For all of you who are new to Splice, I hope you find something within these digital pages that sparks and sustains your interest in cinema and the moving image. For all of the longstanding readers, thank you for your continued support and readership. This year, the Splice Magazine Committee made an important decision to move towards digitally publishing our inhouse magazine. For the tactile aficionados of print publications, fear not! There are plans for future Splice publications in other formats, stay tuned. A big thank you to the one and only Wanda Schmöckel.
