Pitch to Splice

Splice publishes original essays, criticism, journalism, filmmaker diaries, interviews, and photo-essays covering film in Saskatchewan.
We welcome submissions from freelance writers as well as Filmpool members.

Splice currently provides an honorarium to writers as follows:
800 words or less: $250
800 — 1,000 words: $320
More than 1,000 words: $400

How to Pitch

Send us a note letting us know what you’re interested in writing about, with an general outline of your idea. Please do not send finished drafts and keep your pitch to under one page in length (no longer than 250 words).
